Full description

If you are looking for a property full of character with many original features then look no further. This executive property oozes individual design and has been renovated and finished to a high standard in the most beautiful of surroundings. "The Creamery" sitting directly opposite the entrance to a private courtyard is the largest of four sisterly barns that date back to 1888 and were converted in the early 1980's. Many original features have been tastefully integrated into the home which retains the character of the property, alongside contemporary and modern living. The barns main feature when you walk into any room is the use of the original stone.

As you enter the front door you will be greeted with a feeling of space and light created by the high pitched open beamed ceilings. Under foot is high shine marble effect porcelain tiled floor. Walking further forward you will be surrounded by the beautiful farm house handmade pine kitchen. At the centre of the kitchen sitting proud is a magnificent purpose built mantle surrounding a modern Rangemaster cooker with six gas rings and two double ovens. With fully integrated appliances and boasting a double white china sink with attached china draining board the kitchen is the hub of the home.

Leading through the kitchen is a sizable open plan entry breath taking 40 foot long stone conservatory allowing expansive views out into the garden giving the feeling of being "outside, inside". Built with stone walls and glass roof with no tie bars the conservatory was carefully designed to match and display the same high pitch ceiling as the barn. it has two impressive black iron chandeliers and two sets of double French doors leading onto the rear garden and large patio area. There are also two windows within the roof that open allowing air to floe freely on a warm summers day. the floor is a luxurious stone beige floor that compliments its surrounding well.

Entering the large 'L' shaped living room through double glass doors from either the hallway or conservatory again the fell of light and space is apparent due to the high pitched ceilings and multiple windows that are housed in the full length exposed stone wall. The wooden beams are that of the original barns from 1888 and have been stained black in keeping with the black sprayed PVCu windows throughout the property. Another wow factor in this home is the warm and cost open stone log fire which can be admired from all aspects of the lounge.

From the kitchen the long hallway is well lit by dimmer controlled ceiling spotlights and displays a series of black wooden doors leading to the bedrooms and main bathroom. The main bathroom has a double shower and is tiled floor to ceiling with decorative stone window feature.

The first double bedroom has a free standing wardrobe, large radiator and a double window looking out onto the patio area.

The second double bedroom has made to measure fitted wardrobes the whole width of the room with superb storage within. This room also has a large radiator and a double window facing the back garden. Bedroom three is a large double with floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes, a large radiator and a stone featured window front facing.

At the end of the hallway, the master bedroom is a real retreat to unwind with luxurious silver carpet, white high shine floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes, matching storage drawers and two bedside tables. Ceiling spot lights with dimmer switch allow control of mood lighting. Double doors leading onto the patio area and a large radiator make this room the perfect place to end your day at any time of year. A fully tiled double en-suite offers a wet room, stunning white roll top white bath on four iron feet, his and her sinks sitting on a purpose built vanity unit and window opening to the rear of the property.

Bedroom five is a delightful bright airy large double room which also offers a self contained shower, a freestanding double wardrobe, large radiator and French doors leading onto the garden.

The front of the property is set back from the edge of the plot allowing for a good sized front garden with lawned area, featured brick pathway to front door and driveway with parking for four vehicles.

At the rear of the barn the conservatory has two sets of double doors which open out on to a large patio area with original wide laid steps up to a lawned area overlooking a field behind. A natural garden giving a rural feel and perfect for family BBQ's and entertaining.

Vendor Note
Having lived at this property for the last 22 years it has always been a happy family home where I have enjoyed many happy and memorable memories bringing up my family. Coity is a delightful village to live in with a Church, Castle, Post Office, local pub, florist and most of all a village community life.
