Meet Emma Richards – PJC Homes

Meet Emma Richards

We would like to welcome Emma Richards to the Payton Jewell Caines team as she joins our Neath branch.

Since its opening nearly three years ago, the Neath branch continues to expand and we are pleased to continue to employ local people within the Neath area.

Here is Emma’s take on Neath, the people and her career change with Payton Jewell Caines…

What’s your favourite thing about Neath?

Definitely how friendly the people are. Neath is very community based and there are always different events going on!

Why have you decided to enter the world of Property?

I have always had a keen interest in the property market and enjoyed studying property law during my degree at Swansea University. After graduating I worked for three years in a conveyancing department at a Solicitors firm in Cardiff. I love to learn new things and develop my skills, so it is great to learn the marketing and sales aspect of property at PJC.

Where do you live?

I live in Resolven which is one of the Neath valleys.

What is your favourite local in Neath?

My favourite is the new gin bar (Allan Leonard Lewis) or Charlie’s Bar. I never used to be a big gin fan but I love all the different flavoured ones.

What do you in your spare time?

I enjoy going to the gym, going out with friends, booking holidays (oops) and organising charity events.

What’s your favourite shop?

The Works… because I love reading and I am obsessed with having new stationary (geek I know!). Also whenever I pop into B&M bargains for “one item” I end up coming out with a trolley full!

What were you doing before joining us?

I was living in Marbella for two years before moving back to Wales, managing a bar and having a break following my university studies!

What made you choose PJC?

PJC is a local agency and has a great ‘community feel’ about it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I knew that it would be a great place to work from the moment I started.

What’s the best thing about working here?

All of the staff work as a team and are so helpful. We receive very positive feedback from our clients and this gives me a sense of achievement.

At PJC we feel it’s important to have local faces in our local branches to help and support those in the world of property. If you would like to speak to Emma regarding selling, renting, letting or buying a home within the Neath area you can reach her on 01639 874507

Welcome Emma – From the team at PJC
