Neath is home to some of the most talented people on earth with Bonnie Tyler and Katherine Jenkins both originating from this much loved corner of South West Wales along with the much loved Max Boyce.

With the beautiful Gnoll estate and Neath Abbey right on the doorstep, Neath offers an excellent quality of life with dramatic landscape, great schools and an easy commute to Swansea or Cardiff. The indoor market is also pretty good!

The area is renowned for its scenery. There are varied walks to suit all abilities and opportunities for outdoor activities are plentiful, including horse riding, golf, fishing and water sports with the nearby beaches of Swansea Bay just a 20 minute drive away.

Sports fans are spoiled for choice with easy access to the home ground of Swansea City Football Club and regional rugby team the Ospreys as well as the famous Neath RFC known locally as‘The Welsh All Blacks’.

But, what we really love about Neath is the great selection of housing that comes at a genuinely affordable price. Whether you like to be ‘in the thick of it’ or prefer a rural retreat, want modern living or insist on period charm, you’ll find a home to suit you in Neath.

Thearea offers a range of housing including new executive developments, urban villages, country cottages and town centre living. House prices are below the UK average and property represents good value for money.

Cadoxton and Bryncoch are always a popular choice with a wide range of housing types. Waunceirch has properties available from £130,000 while the newer developments at Coed Darcy are selling well with prices ranging from £125,000 to £350,000.

Tonna,Old Cimla and Bryncoch attract young families thanks to the good local schools while young professionals are always influenced by the good links to the M4 that areas like The Rhyddings, Coed Darcy and Jersey Marine offer. You’ll also find some pretty special large detached homes in these areas for under £500,000.

Neath is also a popular choice for investors. There is a shortage of good quality rental properties within a three mile radius of the town centre meaning strong demand from tenants. With prices starting at just £70,000, rental investments offer a good yield and are rarely empty for long so offer a good return to those who like the idea of investing in bricks and mortar alongside or instead of traditional pension funds.

So, whether you are a first time buyer, an outdoor sports enthusiast or a budding A-list celebrity, there are lots of good reasons to make Neath your home. You can view our range of properties here or call us on 01639 874507 to arrange a viewing.
